CMS Announces $22 Million in ACA Funding for State Insurance Departments

On June 15, 2016, CMS announced the availability of $22 million in funding that will be distributed to state insurance regulators to increase the compliance of issuers with ACA consumer protections and to help support the efforts of State Departments of Insurance to ensure that their own laws and regulations are compatible with Federal requirements and for states to oversee and enforce these provisions of the ACA that provide important consumer protections.

CMS Announces $32 Million to Increase Number of Children with Quality, Affordable Health Coverage

Impact of ACA Coverage Expansion on Rural and Urban Populations

On June 10th, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released an issue brief that analyzes how the Affordable Care Act has benefited rural America.
